Placing your items in Storage -

  • Make a plan as to how you will arrange your items in your unit in order to utilize all of your available space and to avoid having to re-arrange your items later.
  • Label boxes on all sides so that you will be able to locate them more easily. Don't overload boxes, and always place lighter boxes on top of heavier boxes.. We sell heavy duty corrugated boxes and a large variety of moving supplies.
  • Store frequently used items in the front of the unit.
  • Cover your items with moving pads, sheets, or light blankets in order to protect them from dust.
  • Be sure to check your unit monthly. Our gate access is 7 days a week for your convenience.
  • Disassemble large items such as tables, bed frames, etc. in order to maximize space. Place all of the associated hardware in bags, and label the bags accordingly.
When disassembling electronics, label all of the cords so that you may reassemble them easily.
  • Appliances should be clean and dry before storage. Leave doors ajar in order to prevent mildew and odors.
  • Wrap breakable items with bubble wrap.
  • Store clothing and draperies on hangers in clean wardrobe boxes.
All of our locations carry paper pads, boxes, wraps, and other packing/storing supplies.
